i have to do a career paper on something i would like to be and an interview is required. I know i can go to an airport and to the training school, but is there anywhere else i can go?

I’m interested in obtaining a job at the airport and I have to pass a FAA background check. I was convicted of a class 6 undesignated offence that was later designated a misdemeanor. One of the requirements for employment is no felony convictions in the last 10 years. Would this offence count as a felony, and disqualify me?
