A person who wants to be a voyager and challenger
In my teenage years, I dreamed of challenge. I have gained a diverse range of experience and I have tried to do as many things as I can. I have risen to a leadership positions part of the 00 Baseball team supporters’ club. As a leader of this club, I set up a planning meeting and coordinated others’ opinions.
And I used to be a volunteer in Inha friends. I teach Korean and help university life for foreign students as a Korean friend. I widened my global perspective by travelling many countries and participating in international activities. I studied English at University of Tasmania in Australia for a short time but I had such a great time and I met so many nice friends from all over the world. I used to make Korean traditional food for my friends, they just love it and we often hang out together. During these experiences, I communicated with various people and I learned a lot about communicating effectively with others
After I entered Inha University, I did many kinds of part-time jobs to get social experiences. I learned how to be kind to people working as an waitress in restaurants, pub and snack bar. And I could also build my PC skill and multi-tasking skill working in the English academy as an office assistant. When I worked in NZ as a hostel staff, I was just 19 and could not speak English well, but I tried to over it and I thought positively. I have lively and amiable character, people became like me and I heard somebody introduce me to others like this, ‘lively Asian girl and she makes us laugh”. As for social relationship, I easily make friends with people because I am an open-minded person. But for my close friends I pour my warm care with no hesitation.
I think the most important thing to do something is passion, efforts and responsibility and I believe that I have these points. If I can get a chance to work in Changi airport, I will do my best for my works, learn what I am short of, and positively face whatever kinds of hardships may come before me.
Why do I want to work in Singapore?
Singapore is one of the best cosmopolitan city in Asia, as known as the center of global business, which speaks English as a public language so that I can communicate with Singaporean easily and get close in Singaporean culture and life. As those reason, I came to dream of working in Singapore.
2009, summer I travelled Singapore alone to see the real Singaporean culture and life. Lots of global enterprises, well equipped social infrastructures and opened business environments are impressed me, and as encounter the international and exotic atmosphere, I have got strong desire to work there eagerly. One of most amazing thing is that Singapore is a kind of Melting Pot country which has diverse race from all over the Asia. I can work with many talented people around the world. It makes my heart beats, also will be wonderful.
Reason for applying
In university days, I have travelled many times and experienced lots of airport service in many countries so I have been interested in the airport service job naturally.
Since I finished the spring semester, I had planned to experience real work at the airport. so I considered for an Internship or a job training session. At that time I found this position and I don’t want to miss this great chance.
Airport service job has not only a single position, there are lots of various position in this field. In terms of my personality, I am the type of person who is sociable and active. I believe this personality of mine is well matched to the airport service.
The Airport where so many people come and go, I think this place is the most international and professional. I always dream of working in such this place. with my language ability, global mind from a various overseas experience, service mind of thinking from the opposite side, I hope to achieve my dream at Changi airport.
