I’m a thirteen year old living in Vancouver. I’m wondering if there is any jobs available for me. I’m turning fourteen in December. I am aware that there are very limited jobs available.
I would like to have a job because my family is low on cash. It would help a great deal if you can help me.

I’m going to apply for a summer job in Vancouver BC for next summer (2009). I’m studying counseling, etc, and there are some possible opportunities for me up there, but here’s the thing… I really love everything I’ve heard about Canada, and eventually, I want to move up that way or just to some city up north. I grew up in Alabama, and I’m going to school in Louisiana. I’m not a redneck at all…very much a city girl, but will I be accepted even with my Southern accent? I know that sounds silly, but I just want to know what to expect. I’m not country…but having lived down South all my life…I have a bit of a that Southern accent. I just don’t want to be perceived as an idiot because I’m obviously from the South. Your thoughts?
