I live in Vancouver, BC and I need a job London, England?

Question by Julie Munro: I live in Vancouver, BC and I need a job London, England?
My friend and I are moving to London for a summer and we’re looking for jobs to apply for before we leave. Does anyone know of any legit web sites with jobs for students? Or does anyone know of any jobs available at all?

Where’s better, Toronto or Vancouver?

Question by Gary C: Where’s better, Toronto or Vancouver?
So I’m looking at moving out to Canada from London to either Toronto or Vancouver and wants some advice.

I’m a 24 year old web developer so want to know what the job markets are like out there and whether one city is better than the other for that line of work.

Also, coming from London, I like the buzz of a big city, the social scene, the parks, the museums, the shops and definitely a good music scene.

I’m into cycling, both mountain and road, love snowboarding and water sports such as kayaking and want to be able to do as much of these as possible (ideally cycling to work late spring – early autumn, kayaking in summer and boarding in winter).

A bit fed up of rain and lack of sunshine in the winter over here in the UK. What’s the weather like, I hear it rains a lot in Vancouver.

I’d be open to other city suggestions as well if anyone knows of another cool place to be.

Any advice on each city outside of these points is also greatly appreciated.

If you like polution, rude people, and crappy hockey, then Toronto is the city for you! (please note that vancouver is the opposite in all of these points).
