Question by Curious George: Can you travel on air inside US with an expired State ID?
My friend ran into a special situation. Her State ID, I-20, Visa is about to expire at the end of this month and she is on her trip to another state with her parents who came here for her graduation. She hasn’t got her EAD (Employment Authorization) card yet which is making the matter worse since she currently don’t have any unexpired ID that she can show to the official at the airport while on a routine checking.
Do you guys think that the airport checking will be strict so as to notice the expiration date and cause trouble?
She could’ve renewed her ID if she got EAD card thru USCIS. I think this year due to the large number of applications filed for H1B the processing of all other applications got delayed.
Thank you all and I’ll surely give her your regard Mymadsky.

There are 2 ways to approach this…
Learn more about your job, see what new responsibilities you can take on, learn about the company you work for, maybe there are different parts of it, that are more stimulating for you…
And honestly your lucky many many many of us do not have jobs, so it is kind of spoiled to be unsatisfied…
But there are ways to make your job more exciting…
Maybe instead of feeling bored each day, try to find something to be enthusiastic about….

There aren’t any jobs in retail or service industry for a 13 year old. Instead, you can complete the life guard courses and work at your local rec center or pool teaching younger kids how to swin or just life guarding in general. You make BIG BUCKS doing that, but the only downside to it is you need to spend lots of time+money in those courses. I swear, one month working 2 days/week at the pool will get you any paintball gun.
That’s what my friends 14 year old brother is doing, he supervises pool parties and he’s got more money than I’ve ever made in my life and I’m way older than him. He works over at the West Van pool.
